A: No. You can purchase a ticket for a day with an attendant. The monthly permits are designed to save daily parkers money.
Q: Why are you charging to park now?
A: Schenectady taxpayers have always been paying for the parking lots. The new pricing plan places the cost of the maintaining the lots on the people who use them.
Q: Where should I park if my usual lot is under construction?
A: There will be signs posted that will point you to the nearest lots. You can also check our website for construction information or to sign up for the Parking Newsletter.
Q: What if I don’t want to set up the permit automatic monthly withdrawal?
A: You always have the option to visit us online or call in and order a permit every month. We set up the monthly charge plan to make ordering your monthly permit worry free.
